Over the moon to say that I will be offering Carbon Literacy Training for the Sports Sector from January 2024.
Courses will be open to individuals and organisations.

I’m very excited to announce I’m a panellist for this vital discussion. The event is being run by the Institute of Translation & Interpreting’s SHEA network on the 26th of January.
We’ll be discussing the steps we can all take and how you can work in this essential industry.

The webinar focused on how to get started in the sustainability sector and what useful tools and techniques you might need.

Carbon literacy for translators & interpreters
I presented at the BP Conference 2023 in Utrecht this year.
I discussed the main components of a professional linguist’s carbon footprint and how to reduce it.

Institute of Translation & Interpreting CPD Award
I’m very excited to say that I received the ITI’s CPD award in July 2023.
Thank you to the ITI for consistently inspiring members to keep pushing forward in their careers and congrats to all the other award winners.

Yorkshire Translators & Interpreters workshop
I hosted a YTI workshop at the University of Sheffield in March 2023.
I spoke about all things business in the world of freelance translation and interpreting.

Shortlisted for the IPSE Sustainability award 2023.
I was shortlisted as a finalist for the #IPSEAwards 2023.
I was elected for the Sustainability Award, which “celebrates a freelance business or individual consciously working greener and cleaner and who knows how important small changes in daily practices can be to achieving net-zero.”
